Playthings of Mad Gods

GLOG Class: Mithradist

Some seek their enlightenment in meditation. Some seek it through pain. You seek it through poison - it courses in your veins every day, hurting you and making you stronger. Once it stops hurting, you just open your wounds again and rub a new flavour of suffering to start anew. One would think that you would have withered and died long ago, and yet - your skin is smoother than alabaster and your eyes are deeper than the ocean. You are not dying - you are changing.

Mithradist:

Mithradism: What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Each time you take a dose of poison, you permanently gain a +1 (cumulative) to all future saves against it. If you willingly take a dose of poison with preparation, you also gain a further +4 on the save. When encountering a new poison for the first time, roll [templates]-in-6 - if you pass, you have already taken this poison d4 times (write that down!).

Dose makes the poison: The only thing that differentiates poison from medicine is the way it is used. Each time you encounter a new sickness, roll [different kinds of poison owned by you] under d20 - if you pass, the application of a poison chosen by the DM can help treat or even cure the person sick. They still have to pass a save against poison, but have a +4 bonus if you dose them and take care of them.

Royal taster: As you feel various poisons in your body, your bowels themselves learn to recognize them - you can always recognize poison in the food and water you taste, and can even recognize poisons that are normally tasteless/odorless/colorless etc. You can also differentiate between them and tell their effects even from a very small dose.

Snake's Spit: By now, you have imbibed so many poisons, that your whole body is laden with them. Your saliva, blood and any other bodily fluids act as a contact poison that deals d4 damage on three consecutive rounds (save on each to end the effect). If you spit it in someone's eyes, they have to save against blindness. Even if they save, they'll have permanent eye damage.

Forbidden Fruit: You can bring enlightenment to others, using a mixture of three rare drugs and two rare poisons chosen by your GM. If they willingly take it, they permanently gain the Mithradism template.

The Ultimate Venom: You learn how to make one more concoction, this time out of five different rare poisons, diluted in your saliva - The Ultimate Venom, which causes save or die instantly after getting into the victims body. Not even the undead are immune. Not even gods. You are the only being in the whole world immune to your own Ultimate Venom. You could even kill a god with it, if you found where to stab.
